I am a newbie, and I have never been so frustrated in all of my 50 years of life. In 2014 I was rear ended by a company truck, at that time I started with neck pain and headaches. I dealt with the pain was x rayed, had MRI's no problems, soon after the burning started in my shoulders, the neck pain was constant. I do not sleep and I couldn't understand why I could not get through an hour workout when I have be working out for 20 years and could do 2 hours straight getting much energy soon after. I now have no energy, I can no longer work and no mater what I do I am exhausted. In 2015 I again, got rear ended, same scenario but this time I saw the F150 truck coming upon me and I stiffend up just waiting for the hit. This accident effected my hips and lower back. I am getting no where with doctors, Nothing shows up in the x rays or MRI's so I AM CRAZY...my pain is coming from no where. My primary Kinda diagnosed me with Fibro and keeps sending me to specialist which give me 5 min of there time. If one more doctors says "This is what happens when we get old" Or do some Yoga! I am going to SCREAM!!!! It is so hard to find a doctor who specializes in Fibro, If I could just find someone to say Yes you have Fibro and Yes it was caused by the trauma I would not feel so crazy. Oh did I mention, after my Doctor took me out of work, I was again hit by an older gentleman who made an illegal left hand turn, cut me off and I t boned him...Great, three accidents and I AM GOOD, because nothing shows up on the MRI or x Rays....Help please, I just don't know where to go to truly get diagnosed.....so frustrated.....And yes, I try to stay off the road because no one pays attention anymore when they are driving but I have to get to all of these doctor appointments so I can get no where....UGGGGGG

Your not mad, being hit by to trucks would set off your fibro.you need to tell your dr your not happy, and want someone to tell u yes it's fibro.try to pin your dr down.
Your not the only one who has been left months and or years waiting for someone to just say the words.x

Have you seen a rheumatologist? That is the doc that finally gave me a diagnosis of fibro. Also, please read my post on MSM.

dmorgan, My guess would be you suffered whiplash from your first accident and compounded the problem with a few more accidents. I would suggest a chiropractor and a rheumatologist maybe. My aunt was in a bad car wreck when young and suffered from whip lash that causes neck and back pain. She went to a chiropractor for years. That might be your first choice.

Thank you,
Its funny you said that, I have been researching whiplash and most of my symptoms are whiplash symptoms. I have been going weekly to the chiropractor and a rheumatologist they have scheduled me to have a Nuclear Bone Scan to see what is going on with me. Seeing that soft tissue injuries are so hard to diagnose this may give me an answer. But Acute whiplash really does describe my symptoms.
Again, Thank you and Happy New Year!
Denise
