Sorry I haven’t posted for a while, life has been so hectic as usual!

My sister mentioned some online research she had seen about the use of Turmeric or Curcumin for relief of fibro symptoms. I wondered if anyone else had heard of this or tried it themselves?

I read a bit online but it seemed too good to be true & I’m a bit skeptical.

Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and for some provides relief. I myself have not tried it as I’m not a fan of the spice

Turmeric is effective as a natural anti-inflammatory agent, it is also used in cancer prevention, liver disorders, heart disease and irritable bowel syndrome. In Fibromyalgia, Turmeric is most effective as an antioxidant. It helps reduce pain and increase energy levels, that's why I take Turmeric powder always with my meals.

I don't know of anyone who has tried this and had any positive effect from it whatever, including myself. I like the spice and do sometimes put it into my food, especially rice, but it has no health benefits that have ever been scientifically documented.
