Tomorrow my second application for disability will be mailed.
The first experience was disappointing because they (and the appeal board) determined my medical problems were not debilitating because my doctor wrote "suffers from mild arthritis" on one line of her letter. They focused on that line (completely disregarding her statement that I cannot work) and denied my claim. It hurt because mild arthritis is the least of my worries and wasn't the reason I applied. My doctor was commenting on the fact that I'm experiencing mild arthritis along with Lupus, which is some what abnormal.
The waiting sucks especially since it would be so nice to actually have enough money to actually pay bills with...
