I never heard anyone talk about this before.
Been of a colonoscopy no problems.
But I have had ibs longer than fibromyalgia.
Anyone know why?

Hi Jacq - I've also had IBS longer than fibro, and my 100s of intolerances are now pretty well explained by MCAS, altho that doesn't let me out of eliminating them.
In your case I can imagine the pressure change pressing on the spine.
In my case it's pee, not poo, but it's not pressure on the spine, it's muscular, the bladder - only hurts when I start, not after.
So is it your spine or your colon that's hurting, d'you think? Maybe hard to distinguish.
I'd work on both: Back exercises for spine, e.g. "yoga", Kegel and elimination diet for colon. Is it IBS-C you have?

Hi
Sometimes it's a lottery, I think mine is mainly because of the amount of different types of pain killers
Even paracetamol capsules. Because it varies how many.If I having a bad week I take senna tablets one at night. Two if it to hard/painful to push.
I always think that if your body wants to go tiolet it will tell you.
So sometimes stop yourself and leave the tiolet for a while and then it seems to come out more naturally.
Hope it helps, we need to talk more about it, especially men.
Thanks
