I was in a group of people a while back, and part of the "introduction exercise", which was mostly just in fun, was that we were each supposed to state what our "superpower" is. Well, I said mine was that I can communicate with dogs, which is true. But what I (kind of) wanted to say was, "I get up every morning no matter how much pain I am in, and I do what I need to do for the day no matter how depressed I am, and I keep going no matter how discouraged I feel, and I keep moving no matter how hard it is, and I live every day even when I would rather be still asleep in bed!"
All of you here are superheroes in my eyes.
You all live with a condition and health issues that most people do not even understand, cannot even imagine, and you do it every day.
You all keep going no matter how hard life is for you.
You all keep coming here to this forum, giving your time and energy to other people who also suffer with these conditions, and do your best to help and support each other on a daily basis.
When I recently asked for support from you folks, you poured out your caring and support to me and helped me to put things into perspective and move forward in a way that anyone who doesn't know what it's like to live every day with fibromyalgia would probably not have been able to do; not because they wouldn't have wanted to, but because they just wouldn't have gotten it the way you all do.
I am so grateful to and for all of you.
As far as I am concerned, you are all superheroes.
Just wanted to say that to all of you.
