Podcast is called conquering your fibromyalgia which is also the name of the book
I had the post taken down by the moderators because of referencing outside sites.
Athe podcasts are about 15-20 minutes long and are meant to supplement what’s in the book.
If you could not afford the book I could send a copy to you.
The podcasts are free and would love your honest feedback.
Hello drtohelpfibro , femfatigued’s not been on for weeks, she lost her mam not long before she joined, and the last time she was on was very down about her fibro type symptoms, I’ve been wondering where she is cos she was one of the first people to welcome me when I joined a few months ago 👨‍⚕️ > ☕️ + 🍪

Drtohelpfibro, I was just saying cos I found a post you messaged her and wanted to let you know she’s not been on for a bit and don’t know when and if she’ll be back?
I was recently diagnosed and I have so many questions. I was in a bad car wreck in 2019 that as I was told triggered my newly found diagnosis. And its good to know that all the pain was not just in my head as some drs told me. I have been looking for a place with others that are going thru what I am and really hope that someone can help me with understanding and answers to some of the questions.

Hi Lady_Jabo,
I was already experiencing symptoms of fibro (undiagnosed, back then - I thought I was going nuts!) but it was a car crash that tipped me into my full first flare. These things can muddy the water so much as we try to figure out what on earth is happening to our bodies. I hope you find the support you're searching for here - you can ask any questions you like, and vent whenever you need!
Hello. I’m a 68 year old female diagnosed with fibromyalgia a year ago after having test for everything under the sun. No problems I will die healthy as a horse .. I have no real support my husband thinks it’s a made up thing because Dr’s can’t figure out why I hurt all the time. So tired I could cry.

Hi Rdm,
We can all relate to your tiredness - this condition can be really brutal - but that also means you're not alone. A lot of us have had trouble getting our loved ones to *get* what fibromyalgia is like to live with. Collecting up some informative articles and honest memes to share with them can sometimes help. Talk to us here about anything you need.
Hi! I'm Lurita. Denied my diagnosis 20 years ago and tried to cope on my own. Fibro brought me to my knees literally on 8/31/2021. Diagnosis again by a different doctor on 9/2/2021. This time I'm a believe. Looking for support , and info. Still stubborn but Happy to be here.

You'll find lots of fellow stubborn souls here! And, of course, support too ☀️ Welcome to the forum, Lurita. Ask anything you want to, and vent any time you need!
Where abouts in the UK are you?

If you're in the Midlands & you felt like a chat maybe we could get out for a brew!

Chin up!
There's a flare in the air this week. Keep trying to evade the dastardly fiend, but so far it's outfoxing me  Ice packs at the ready.

Thanks for taking the time to write me a thoughtful reply to my first thread. I'm in a horrible place right now and I don't have it in me to write a proper reply but I wanted you to know it meant a lot to me.

Thank you, David. I totally get you not replying, so don't worry about that! Your message means a lot to me too. Stay in touch any time, and stick with us - it's going to be worth it 🌤️
Hello to you all 😊 With fibro I tend to spend most days in pain. On Sat I felt the best I’d felt in ages. At a wedding reception on Saturday I had some wine and danced but had to stop due to horrendous pain in my hips, back, feet and legs I’m still in pain now. It still hurts to walk. Has anyone got any suggestions how to ease the pain please? As nothing seems to be working. Many thanks

Hey Dink, The best I've got is to do everything you can to try to relax. Ice packs in the mean time too. The more I can calm myself down and get extra sleep when I overdo things, the faster I bounce back - but its sadly never very springy!

Thank you so much. I’ll try ice packs. I find it a real challenge to rest as it affects my mental health, think I may have to start meditation again xx

Me too on the mental health - not easy to turn the dial! I also use mediation, plus breathing exercises, and binaural beats. I hope you feel better soon 🌷
Interesting what you said about nails. Never happened with me. Dry eyes that are painful, that is another story.
