  • If you decide to try fermented foods and want to make them yourself, I will be happy to answer any questions. Just send me a private message and I will give you my email address.
Thank you for the info on Lyrica, I will check it out. I don't drink my milk kefir plain. I use my immersion blender and that makes the texture so much nicer. I make a smoothie by adding cinnamon and stevia or blueberries and stevia. I really like them both, but the cinnamon one is my favorite. Maybe there will be something the fodmap diet allows that will make your milk kefir something you fall in love with. :)
I noticed you are on lyrica. I couldn't b/c it was toxic w my b.p. med but later found out there are some nasty side effects so was thrilled to have never had it. Google it and see what is out there on the brain synapses that get killed off and don't regenerate.
Hello! I noticed your comment about trying to eliminate wheat and adding probiotics. I eliminated gluten and all grains May of 2014, just because I wanted to after doing some reading/research. I also avoid sugar except for occasional bite of an 85% chocolate bar, which has very little sugar.

I had been taking probiotic supplements, but doing some research this summer led me to making fermented foods and milk kefir for my probiotics from a food source. I am so happy I started doing this.

I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I have some symptoms, lots of "normal" tests and I am awaiting a referral to a rheumatologist. My point is, I feel like the people I read about that have fibromyalgia have much greater pain and the fatigue. That is when I start doubting that I could have fibromyalgia. It was mentioned to me that possibly my diet makes my symptoms not as bad.

I wish you the best of luck with your chiropractic visits and elimination diet.
