Hi, Pounne. I have had fibromyalgia for 6 years. I also developed it after a car accident. I have a herniated disc in my neck that gives me trouble also. I am stiff and in pain everyday. I have muscle spasms often especially in the neck, back, and hip area. I can't do anything repetitive because of the fatigue and it increases my pain and I also feel weaker that I did before the accident. My arms especially feel weak. I am on morphine, muscle relaxers, and other meds. Some people have milder cases. My muscles hurt all the time espesically the trigger points. My pain has been sharp, stabbing, and aching kind of pain. The last few months, my hands have been falling asleep and I have some burning feeling with that mainly when sleeping. My doctor thinks it may be the way I sleep with my hands folded. I am not sure if it is fibromyalgia related. I just bought wrist braces for that to see if that helps. I have been to a neurologist to rule out other things but my rheumatologist and pain specialist confirmed the diagnosis. So it is possible that you have fibromyalgia. I would recommend reading as much as you can about fibromyalgia. In the past, it was hard for people that have it to even be diagnosed. Some doctors still don't believe in it. They are not sure what causes it. Physical therapy can help. I hope this helps a little. It is best to see a doctor who specializes in it. Take care. If you have any other questions, I will try to help. Sunshine

Hi, Pounne. The only burning feeling I have is in my hands. I do get headaches often. If you want, you can send me private messages about my experience with fibromyalgia. My husband might have a motor neuron disease. That is why I am on this site. He has some symptoms I can relate to, so I can see why you found this site. I will be glad to help you any way I can. I don't know if the forum would want us talking about fibromyalgia all the time. That is why I suggested the private messages. Take care.
