Hi there! Welcome to the forum! So sorry to hear you are going through this! I hope you can get a fibro diagnosis soon enough, but let me tell you that I have heard there is a link between IBS and Fibro. It seems a lot fibro sufferers also suffer from IBS, I am one of them. I also suffer from IBD, but I haven't heard about any link between IBD and Fibro. Both can coexist though. I recommend you to look for a good rheumatolgist, maybe a neurologist too.

As for the burning... where do you experience said sensations? I ask because there is another conditions that is often seen in fibro suffers, it affects mostly the scalp and it feels like a burning sensation in that area. It can be treated.

Hi thanks for the reply the burning sensation i get is inside my elbows and the top of my chest and also in between my shoulder blades iam a 46 year old male and had this pain for the past 2 years now seen a neurologist few months ago i have restless legs and my body goes into twitches and spasms i have gp appointment next Thursday i think he is referring me to a rheumatologist

Hi all I am also new at this. I am awaiting a diagnoses. I feel burning sensations in my arms( biceps area), shoulders, and legs. I have an appointment with neuro in July and a rheumatologist after that. I am so tired of feeling this way. I hope you get relief.

hi, am new to this, so please bear with me...I have all the problems you cited, but my pain management specialist does not believe in fibro.....I see him for spinal injections for degenerative disc disease , arthritic facet joints.......although this helps my back, I am so tired of being in chronic pain throughout my body..I sleep a lot plus need naps in the afternoon. Some days it is just too painful to walk, my neck and shoulders are also painful and I get severe headaches now as well...I need help out of this misery so I can enjoy my grandchildren......if anyone knows the name of the fibro specialist in Saint John Nb, I'd really appreciate it.....HELP

Fibromyalgia symptoms may intensify depending on the time of day -- morning, late afternoon, and evening tend to be the worst times. Symptoms may also get worse with fatigue, tension, inactivity, changes in the weather, cold or drafty conditions, overexertion, hormonal fluctuations (such as just before your period or during menopause), stress, depression, or other emotional factors.

I just joined today so haven't read alot of posts yet; but is there anyone who has the nerve pain ONLY in the legs? This all started for me years with a neck and back injury, so they did all these injections and radiofrequency and it wasn't until after all that that I had the nerve pain in my legs and the drs. say fibro. From everything I've read it's described as all over pain so I'm still a bit confused. I still have the pain in my neck and back but it's not the same as in my legs. For awhile I though the injections caused my leg pain.

Yeah! I tried that, maybe it is all in my head. As I was trying to walk from the bathroom to my kitchen, and both feet were o. Fire, I repeated, it's all I. My head, it's all in my head . Then abruptly sat down, it was that,or Fall down.
Sorry sweetie, it's all in your head is short term for: I really don't know what to do for you, so I'll throw out that your imagining things, that way, I don't have to Work on you.

Don't worry about the "all over" thing. My fibro is only in the lower body.
