My doctor told me back in July that he was pretty sure my pain was caused by fibromyalgia as I have the tender points, but he wanted to do some blood work. I have had two test done and both test have been showing that I have elevated inflammation, so I'm questioning if I really do have fibromyalgia. My GP is setting up a appointment with a rheumatologist, but my question is can you have elevated inflammation but have fibromyalgia? :?:

yes you can. see my post what is fibromyalgia under the general discussions forum.

Thank you for replying. I'll see what the rheumatologis has to say but I think he will say I have Fibromyalgia as well.

Kasmaflower, inflammation could be from a number of conditions beside fibro. I'm sure the rheumatologist will help you sort it out. Take care.
