This recipe is really good tasting and healthy as well.

Bulgur Salad Pockets

1/2 cup of bulgur wheat
1/4 cup of raisins
1 cup of cold water
2/3 cup of plain yogurt
1 cup shedded carrot
1/4 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts or alomonds)
3 whole wheat pita bread rounds, halved crosswise
lettuce leaves

In a bowl combine the bulgur wheat and raisins. Pour cold water over and let it stand for an hour, or until the bulgur is soft. Drain off any excess liquid. Stir in the carrot. Cover and chill. Before serving stir in the yogurt and the nuts. Line the pita bread with lettuce and spoon in about 1/3 cup of the bulgur mixture into each. Makes 6 servings.
 
I have tons of good recipes that I can share on here, and it is so important to take care of yourself, as the way that you feel is a direct result of the way you are eating (at least I believe) If you have a sweet tooth try this easy recipe freeze 4 bananas, peel and put frozen bananas in the food processor, add anything that you like honey, cinnamon, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, your favorite nuts, whatever you like. Blend for a minute. It will turn smooth, and tastes just like the consistency of ice cream, except no added sugar or fat! So healthy and yummy!
