Unhappy bursitis

Does anyone experience pain in the shoulders and hips that is diagnosed as bursitis. I have fibro and my hips and shoulder are in constant pain. Just touching them sends me a jumping. My doctor told me today that it is bursitis. She didn't really do anything but give me exercises, I can't even lay on my side because my hips hurt so bad. She (my GP) told me to ask my rheumatologist about injections in those joints. Any advice is welcome.

Default Re: bursitis

I have recently developed bursitis in my knee - it was distinct from my usual fibro pain and the doctors examination confirmed it. I treated it separately from the fibro and has resolved.
