I find this quite interesting. I do have all 3 and more and went true lots of tests and it took more than one doctors or hospital before it leaded to the last doctor of mine who used all the other reports combined with his own round of tests. Needless to say I was confused and not very happy with result but better to know than not, right?

I was very glad that the rheumatologist I saw actually physically looked for tender points and other areas of pain. While he didn't count them up for me, it was clear that there were several, and that I had pain in many places I shouldn't. That added up with my other symptoms makes me confident it's a legitimate diagnosis.

Declaring someone has fibro without doing tests to rule out other conditions, or not taking 5 minutes to do a physical exam: that's just lazy and counterproductive.
