Yeah it is believed that fibromyalgia and auto accidents are connected. In a five year study conducted from 1990 to 1995, the records of two thousand fibromyalgia patients were examined. Of these two thousand people, sixty-five percent of the instances were due to a traumatic incident. Of this percentage, fifty-two percent suffer from fibromyalgia because of an automobile accident...!

I tore all my upper back muscles from moving heavy stuff on a job that took too long to heal
and that caused my fibro.
It was so bad that even my shoulder blade was ripped and sticking out a few inches on the bottom and the worker's comp doctor told me that was "normal" and that I never
noticed it before.
That same doctor told me I wasn't in pain when you could clearly see the muscle spasms from 20 feet away under my shirt like a huge muscle tic but she also said getting a MRI was "very painful".

Yeah....

I say that if in a few more months you are still hurting a lot and in places you didn't originally injur you might have fibro.
