I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a month ago... lately my chest burns and my throat feels as though I have to cough but when I force it, nothing comes of it.. also when I bend to the side and inhale it's as if I'm trying to inhale through a straw. I don't know why this is and I have a habit of automatically thinking the worst. Does anyone else experience this? I don't feel like I have a cold, no fever, etc. My next doctor appointment is on the 4th so any advice would be helpful.

Welcome to the forum. It is very important to never ever think all the health problems you have are caused by fibro. Hear me again....!
Again never think all the symptoms you have are caused by your fibro. Your breathing problems could be from allergies or a partly collapsed lung, or something even more serious. Firo can cause chest pain but does not cause the symptoms you have mentioned. See a doctor as soon as possible.
