Welcome Ubepaul,

I don't know what type of doctor diagnosed u with Fibromyalgia, but it sounds like they ruled out things with several tests, which is the right way to go about diagnosing it. And if you have most of the symptoms of Fibro.Fatigue, difficulty sleeping, pain in different parts of your body bilaterally. And others like IBS,heat intolerance or cold, migraines, tenderness to touch.
There are a lot of similar symptoms that many of us have. These are just a few.

Hopefully your doctor is experienced in treating Fibro, and if he's not then I would suggest you find one that is.It makes a big difference and doesn't waste any time.

Pacing yourself is very important.Meaning if your doing something physical you must take breaks in between.Resting your mind and body is very important, because stress just exacerbates the symptoms of Fibro.

Most of us here had to decrease our work hours or rearrange our lifestyles in order to decrease our stress and anxiety. It all depends on how severe your Fibro is.Everyone is different ,some can work full time and others can't.

Medications can help, but like I said other things have to be done also.I like to go for massages every couple of weeks. It relaxes me and helps decrease my pain all over.Other Fibromites experience tenderness to touch and can't tolerate pressure on their muscles.

You mentioned Lyme disease usually u can see a Lyme specialist to do a specific blood test to diagnose that. Its not an easy disease to diagnose if you don't have the typical bullseye rash.I did and so did my daughter ,and we were treated accordingly. So if that is ruled out than most likely u don't have that.I don't know about the physical symptoms to Bipolar,But if you read about Fibro on this forum you will be able to see the difference.

There can be several doctors in the arsenal of care that could be helpful.Rheumatologist, primary care,Painmanagement,Nuerologist,Chiropractor,Massage therapy,Accupuncture.Holistic medicine, psychotherapy, to name a few.It might take a combination of these to ease your pain.

Wish u luck and we are here if you have any questions

I just realized you said you contracted Lyme, sorry I missed that.If you were treated properly at the time hopefully that was taken care of.Its really hard to say if you have any further symptoms from that.If these are different and new symptoms they may two different diseases.
