I am 28 years old and have had chronic pain for almost 10 years. It started with severe back pain right under the bottom of my right shoulder blade. Doctor after doctor just tell me they don't know what to tell me. I eventually just gave up on them. I've been to MD's, DO's, Chirpractors, Massage Therapists, Physical Therapists, Naturopaths...
I finally managed to get my back out of spasm after downloading The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook, but almost immediately, I could feel pain everywhere in my body. It's almost like the pain in my shoulder blade was so bad it was overriding everything else. For the last few years I have been trying to deal with hurting every single minute of every single day.
Doctors just don't know what to do. They tell me 'I'm sorry you're in pain' then tell me to talk to a therapist, or brush it off like I'm making it up. Other people just tell me I am being a baby or it's all in my head.
I feel like I'm lost on what to do next. I have no diagnosis and most doctors don't seem to want to do anything. Does anyone have any advice?

- I have muscle pain everywhere and I find multiple little knots [trigger points] in every muscle group of my body.
- Pain varies from throbbing/aching, stabbing, to, at times, my entire thigh feeling like it is sunburned.
- My wrists hurt to the point I can't even support my own body weight on them.
- My ankles are stiff and always wanting to pop, along with my hips, knees, and wrists.
- I wake up from sleep in pain and never feel like I sleep enough. Half the time I'm aware I'm sleeping, but I am also aware of everything else going on around me. I never have energy, and some days I will literally sleep all day.
- Sitting for long periods really aggravates my pain.
- Florescent lights are my absolute arch-nemesis [hurts my eyes, my brain starts getting foggy and I can't focus, I start seeing stars, then I get a migraine]. I wear sunglasses and a hat at work to try to block the lights out because the company refuses to replace the blue-spectrum flourescents.
- Cold weather aggravates the pain. Ironic since I'm from Portland and it's cold/rainy 9 months of the year.
- I am constantly poking at myself, laying/leaning on tennis balls, stretching/doing yoga
- I don't sit on furniture when at home. I prefer laying on the floor where I can lay on a tennis ball or stretch out.
