Oh and I've tried dry needling, which caused me to have horrific muscle spasms, that got me my favorite saying. 'I've never seen this before' I've also had trigger point injects, which caused worse muscle spasms than the dry needling. I recently had injections in my lower back, not only is it...

Almost 10 Years Of Chronic Pain

Hi Kira sorry to hear your pain started at such a young age. Your list of complaints could be mine if you added 2 back surgeries. Unfortunately it sounds like you have fybromyalgia, you will need to find a good rheumatologist, preferably a younger one, they seem to be more sympathetic to...

Hi, that support group in Lansing might be a good thing as there is nothing in my neighborhood except for a group that meets at Panetta bread and while I'm sure they are nice people, I'd like more than just talking to others with the same problems, that's what this forum is for. So, if you are...

I just can't take it anymore!

I take a total of 9 different meds, I've been in PT, this time around, for almost a year, twice a week, with the occasional 2hohr massage thrown in when it's really bad. PT helps a little bit, for a little while and I generally leave there crying and it's utterly exhausting to try and stay...

How do you deal with frustration?

Frustration with this disease, in my opinion is about the worst part of the whole thing, aside from the pain. Between weird things happening and doctors that don't understand, listen or have a clue about what im going through. Last week, Sunday, about noon my knee started to hurt, by 4pm I could...

How many different place do you hurt in a day?

I also have most of the same problems, except for the asthma, including 2 back surgeries at l-5/ s-1. Most days its a much shorter list to say what doesn't hurt. I would like to be incouraging and say hang in there, it will get better. Unfortunately that would be a lie.

    Doctor's finally listening...

Hi Javelle, i understand the need to function and not be willing around in a drug induced gaze. I take a very large cocktail of medications trying to relieve the myriad of problems I'm experiencing. The one thing that works the best for pain relief is medical marijuana, seeing as you live in...
