Hi; my name is Alice, I'm 27. I was diagnosed in April 2020, so I'm still very new to all this. Just on the forum looking for some affinities and answers. (I suppose I began seeing acute symptoms around 2016 onwards).

Hoping this finds you well or coping okay.

I used to enjoy a lot of travelling, partying -- edited my own magazine at one stage, and used to perform my poetry in pubs. Lately things have been a LOT slower -- I live alone since my housemate moved out due to a mutually agreed upon parting of the ways, and now I am contemplating a cat lol (and looking for a new housemate!) But my PhD, which is in post-millennial anglophone literature, keeps me on my toes.

My favourite things are:

music (listening to, learning about, all types) so gigs also
art galleries
animals e.g. nature documentaries
cinema
science fiction literature
cultural theory
and, as lame as it sounds, keeping my house nice!

I'm also interested in setting up a fashion instagram soon, but what with the PhD and the illness, I don't have much free time, which I'm sure is familiar to everybody...
