I am on disability due to my fibro and chronic pain being so bad. But I worked from 1995 until 2018 until my illness and pain just got to be so much that I missed so much work that a job I had worked at for almost 20 years cut my hours to nothing. I then tried to find a new job for a year but most places didn't want to hire someone my age or I was placed at the bottom of the totem pole trying to do jobs I could not physically do at the lowest pay grade. I finally got disability after about a year. I got it because not only do I have fibro but I also have diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and a cyst on my left temporal lobe. This disease sucks! Not only are u in agony from this disease it robs you of your self dignity and your worth.
