Hi All,

I need some advise and help

About 12 months I went to the doctors as I was always fatigue, I felt I could just fall asleep where ever I was. I felt like I sleep through out the night and doesn't matter how much sleep I got I was still so tired.
Blood test came back ok so the doctor diagnosed me with fibromyalgia jus like that, at this point I never heard of it. I research fibromyalgia and decide for a second opinion.
the second doctor sent me for more bloods and to see a rheumatoid specialist.
Blood showed borderline vitamin d which is now normal and low white blood cells.
I started getting migraine, headache, pins and needles in hand and feet, Neck and shoulder pains.
The specialist I sore for all of 10minuties said it was Chronic fatigue and sent me on my way- I never stood up to be examine
Since January, the headache have eased off (there not everyday) but I have restless leg and muscle spasm.
I still work and stress makes my symptoms worse but there are day I feel ok and have little pain and symptoms then there are day I am so tired and in pain that I struggle to focus at work, forgetting what I am doing, words etc

Do you think it CFS or fibromyalgia

Sounds like it could be a combination of both.

Doing some research it says you can help control it with diet and exercise. I heard coffee and alcohol are the worst for Fibromyalgia, has anyone else found this?
What do you find that helps?
Thank you

Sounds like you could have both CFS and FMS. So sorry. And alcohol does make my symptoms worse but not coffee.

I found taking Magnesium (balanced with the other chemicals which help absorption) helped with cramps. Tyrosine helps with brain fog and mood control. Exercise helps the lymph system detox the body of food triggers - walking, swimming and yoga are amazing. Alcohol, sugar, chemicals or any medication is a Fibro trigger. Vitamin D and B12 and B6 give me strength.

I also found the pain is a result of consuming too many foods, or exposure to chemicals that my body has an intolerance to, once I found the triggers were eliminated from my diet then the body's inflammation was reduced. Foods that have anti-inflammatory properties help, olive oil, fish, any omega based foods, also adding in healing foods such as bone broth. See a book called Foods that Fight Fibromyalgia - Deirdre Rawlings PHD. Investigate the process of developing your own food diary to work out your food triggers, also I organised blood tests to find out mineral and vitamin deficiencies. Once such process was getting a genetic test focusing on nutrition strengths and weaknesses, see Dr Denise Furness, Australian Genetic Nutritionist - please mention my name if you contact her. She organises a test to investigate your bodies ability or inadequacies of nutrient absorption which affects your ability to heal, detox or retain nutrients. This was a powerful beginning because you can't change your genetics, so you can mould your new diet with genetics in mind. I hope this helps. Cassandra Luxmoore.

Good morning, Shel7220
I have fibromyalgia since 2007, and since then many different symptoms have manifested themselves. Yes I do
have forgetting words, called brain fog, muscle spasms, pins and needles, and headaches have turned into migraines in which I get Botox injections every 3 months... Everyone is different and your systems might stay the same ...
The key to all this is to ,stay active, and I'm sure your doctor has told you this.
I am so sorry you have to go through this..
If theres any other questions please feel free to ask.
Have a healthy day!
