My wife has suffered from Fibro for close to 20 yrs now. She just recently was weaned down from 30 mg. Methadone and is now taking minimum prescriptions for her condition. No methadone. only topomate, Effexor, and anti-inflamatory Meds. She voluntarily wanted to come off of methadone and was successful in doing so. Unfortunately she is now in a living hell with all of the symptoms coming back with a vengeance. Currently it is restless legs, migraines , malaise, sleep deprivation....She has always had a bad case of it. We do not want for her to go back on nsaids and are looking for our miracle Doctor to help in a desperate quest for Quality of life which has eluded us thus far without strong narcotics. Your reputation reached our ears yesterday and struck a small amount of hope in our spirit. We are looking for answers. If she has to go back to narcotics then so be it . however we would like a balance using other alternatives that Work. Not meaning to sound arrogate nor demanding just searching for answers for desperately needed help. She also suffers from Glaucoma and a UTI? That has eluded Dr.s for 3 years thus far. I have blue Cross Ins. and stay current with all of her Dr.s. If you are looking for a challenge, care about your patients and helping people with this disease. Please respond.
