Meditation will be one of the most beneficial therapies to take on. I have been doing it for the past 2 years now and it has changed my life. If you are considering it, I say give it a good try. At first it may be difficult to get a hang of but after each practice, it seems to just come...
I also write to help me work out how I am feeling. I read in one of my favorite books, The Master Key System by Charles Haanel, that it can be very therapeutic for you body, mind and soul. Definitely check this out if you are interested in it. It can really help you through hard times.
Tea is a big part of my natural remedies. It helps with my fatigue in the beginning of the day and my restlessness at the the end of the day. I have not tried ginger tea. I am usually drinking chamomile in the mornings and green tea at night. Helps me so much.
Firbromyalgia has allowed me to realize how strong of a women I can truly be. It is always good to see the sportive in things that seem to me so negative. Sometimes we need to fall in order to get back up stronger. Thanks for the post.
Have you tried adding a sweetener to your tea. I usually sweeten mines with pure honey. Tea has seemed to help my fatigue and pain. I especially love a cup in the morning to get me going and a cup at night to put me to sleep.
I had this same issue. It is not good to have your body do so much work through out the week and rest all weekend. Your body gets confuse and cause the pain that you are experiencing. Try to have only one day of full day relaxation but other than that, keep your energy levels up by doing something.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have never tried drinking cherry juice before I go to sleep. This seems like it would help tons since cherries have such great health advantages. I usually drink tea before I get in bed to go to sleep. It seems to soothe me.
If you are having trouble with your knees, I suggest you consider yoga. I was having problems with my knees and back but after a month of yoga, I began to see a difference. If yoga does not suit you, try stretching every morning before getting your day started and soaking in epson salt at night.
At first, I could not do the same activities that I use to be able to do. Once I got it under control, I was able to live a life without it interferring with it. I do have times where I am not able to do certain things but for the most part, I can.
Laughter does seem to have a great affect on my mood also. I tend to watch animated films such as Shrek and Frozen. They really lighten my mood and keep me happy. I also like to watch comedies with my friends who are just funny themselves.
I do yoga every morning and it seems to be one of the best things I have started to do to help my pain. I combine this with meditation and it can be the best medicine. The stretching seems to relax my muscles and keep me awake throughout the day.
I am more of a heat person because it eases my pain so well. When I have back pains I take a hot bath and it helps the pain right away. Ice is okay when I have swelling but I rarely use it.
This system also works for me. I drink a glass a night right before I go to sleep and a glass when I first wake up. It seems like hydration significantly takes down the pain that I have. I also try tea sometimes when I need to be calmed.
My worst pain is in my back and feet. To ease the pain I usually take a hot bath and soak with Epson salt. Sometimes I may get really bad headache which in that case I just lay down until the pain fades away.
It definitely affected my sex life and almost destroyed my relationship because my significant other did not understand my issues. I was always tired and he felt like I was no longer attracted to him. This was not true because I have always found him very attractive, I just was not in the mood...
