  • Hi Karen. I'm not sure if I can help with the medication issue, but I can attest to using meditation to help me cope with pain. If you're interesting in investing some time to learning, there's an 8 week program that I'm using. go to www.palousemindfullness.com. I've been meditating for a number of years and am trying to focus my energy here. Meditation does not take the pain away, it helps boost the efficacy of whatever you are taking. Perhaps it will help you. If you're not up for 8 weeks, search for mindfullness meditation on YouTube. Anything by Jon Kabat Zinn is great.
