I hadn't heard of the heredity possibility until now. So much of it seems so unknown. I'm so sorry for each of us here. This is dreadful sickness. Although for me, it's sure better than the last 6 years of not knowing. I'm just trying to understand all I can. :)
Thank you so much for your kind responses. My mom lives in our basement and she helps quite a bit but I don't think she our my husband quite understand my struggle. As for him, he's a hard worker but no amount of begging gets him to help much around the house. It's just a never ending battle...
I am not sure. I was recently switched from tramadol I was on for a year and a half to Norco. It's working much better for me. I think switching occasionally might help but I'm not sure. Of course since my doctor also diagnosed me with Fibro in October I have more norco than she was giving me...
I'm New here. I've been suffering since my almost 6 year old was born. Was diagnosed with Fibro in October. Just feeling overwhelmed with the holidays. I'm exhausted even though I've had 2.5 days off work. My house is the biggest mess ever and I'm trying to see through the fog enough to enjoy...
There is something I don't understand about it being genetic. It's the compinent.if it being triggered by a trauma. So if your (or my) child doesn't go through a trauma (hopeful thinking) they wouldn't get it?
I've been on lyrica for 10 days. Have not yet noticed less pain, but I an extremely moody. And the dry mouth is worse than before. My doctor said give it a good month before I judge it.
I'm sorry. You are so young to feel so terrible. I go through many of the same issues. Loved ones don't understand even when they try. As far as kids, when I'm not up for much, we will lay together and watch a movie or read books.
I'm sorry you are going through this. I hope with a diagnosis you are on your way to some relief. Yes I've had horrible cramps the last couple years. I did read somewhere that it is a known symptom of fibro.
I have been on cymbalta for about a minth and a half. It has made a world of difference for me. I.also take norco as needed and tizanidime (muscle relaxer) most nights. My.doctor and I.are.still exploring options and she wants me to try lyrica soon..
Hi Morika, I hope you are having a better day. I completely understand your pain and frustration. I often feel isolated in my pain. I am glad to know I'm not alone.
Its weird how.It comes and goes. I have been going downhill for about 5 uears and was recently diagnosed with fibro. I.can imagine where you live is very challenging.
