Does anyone else have really vivid dreams during a flare? I am having the most vivid
ones I can ever recall. I never considered I dreamt that much (though obviously I did & very
occasionally remembered them) but nothing like these. I suppose it could be medication?

I think @Sueb24 duloxetine can cause vivid dreams\nightmares. I think you are taking this?

Maybe speak with a gp? It's so hard with meds,most have side effects so it's working out if the much needed benefits fully outweigh any negative effects. End of day I think it's about the balance, try to achieve a better quality of life. I put up with some meds negative effects just for that reason.

@Sueb24
When I was taking duloxetine, and all other antidepressants I have tried over the years, I have always had the horrible side effect of vivid, extremely disturbing night terrors. Therefore, I strongly suspect that your vivid dreams are being caused by the duloxetine.

Now that I do not take any antidepressants, I no longer have those terrible dreams.

Totally agree.mixing different meds seriously reacts with your brain.you’ve got to realise that most of these meds are powerful medication that our bodies are not used to.i’ve had it al in my 25 years of fybro.every medication and to be totally honest they all mess your system psychologically or sexually,especially sexually.i take fentanyl and you might as well wave goodbye to your sex life it numbs you.i know this sounds really blunt Iand I don’t mean to be funny at all but you’re better off taking nothing cos they mess u up big time.i came off sertraline and i felt like i was dying,it was horrendous.juse worries me that we’re just taking all these tabs for a bit of comfort but when u stop it’s hell.do see a g.p amyltryptaline was working well for me then I became massively tired and spaced out all day,maybe you won’t.i hope you find the right path and please keep us informed.we’re all in it together

I've found Amyltryptaline gives me vivid dreams, they can be recurring nightmares or just plain odd. I once dreamt of headbutting David Hasselhoff which was odd considering that I liked the show as a youngster.
