Hi y'all, I hope you are well. I'm looking for some help. This pain I'm going to ask about could be caused by my tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO). But I'm hopeful the pain types some of you found good relief in your toolbox.

I have a deep bone pain, an ache like pain but very intense. It throbs in a way that it feels as if a rebar rod is being pounded up my bone (sorry for discrimination it is the only thing I can imagine it is like to describe).

My muscles fatigue so quickly. Sometimes I worried my legs may give out after 15 steps. They feel exausted and sore all the time, like you pushed and worked they out beyond their ability.

The muscle weakness and fatigue has at time caused my walk to change drastically into something wierd. It also takes my breath. When I'm walking ridiculously slow, I feel as I'm running.

I am just beyond the limits I'm able to take. I don't have pain medication. I have taken muscle relaxers and anti-anxiety medication. On top of that THC and CBN capsules. I've also tried heat, guided meditation, breathing, stretching, self massage, aromatherapy and distraction. No luck on the pain. I can't ice because of my extreme cold sensitivity.

I am in agony today. Boy do I appreciate the good days today. This is some of the top pain I have ever experienced and mobility impairment

No doubt some others here can say as I can that I have experienced pain I would describe the same way. It's more intense than anyone would believe if they have not felt it.

There's nothing I have tried that will knock the pain out, although medical cannabis can relax me enough that the pain is less intense. I have also found that certain opioids will diminish this kind of pain, but I am cautious in the extreme in my use of them, and I never recommend them because they are so easily addictive.

Have you asked your doctor for pain medication? Or is that something you don't want to do or cannot do for any reason?

I have found that over the years this kind of pain, like all the others, comes less often and with less intensity (some of the time anyway) since I embarked on the serious campaign of exploring all of the things that trigger pain for me and all of the things that help, and as long as I maintain the things that help my life can tend to be easier.

It's not really about finding something that will lessen the pain in the moment, for me, but rather an overall lifestyle that is as conducive as possible to my being healthy mentally and physically. It's not easy to maintain. I do better at some times than I do at others. But I find that the degree to which I can maintain it is the degree to which I can live a decent life day to day.

Don't know if that's helpful at all.

Yes I do smoke and have taken thc and cbn capsules. I have 28 strains of flower in my med stash kit. I do have a podcast on medical marijuana.

Haven't had one willing yet. Best I can do is muscle relaxers. I have an appointment on the 26 (finally) with pain management. I have been on Fentanyl patches in the past. I have a podcast that is on that topic. There should be nothing that would prevent me from me being prescribed.

Right now my only fix is Xanax, muscle relaxer, 50mg THC indica and 10 mg CBN

Yes, I get that. It feels like the bone marrow is on fire. Can't walk sit lay down, very nasty and miserable.
I have discovered that with me it is too much sugar. I love sweets.
Also very odd but If I eat wheat I also get a lot of pain. So I found a flour called Spelt and another called Gram.
As long as I make my own food from scratch and never eat shop or ready meals, the pain in the bones stops.
Hope this helps you

I had that deep bone pain for many months last year as well as a lot of other symptoms. I don't know yet if I have Fibro but I did get diagnosed with Long Covid. Going to see a specialist here in B.C. in six months. I think this specialist deals with Fibromyalgia, chronic Fatigue, Lymes and the like. I can't wait to see him :) ;)

ps I also had the horrible muscle fatigue that you mentioned
where I almost couldn't stand up.
I never knew for sure that I'd had Covid until I got an antibody test which confirmed that I'd had it twice. I'd tested a lot but tests were always negative. I got really sick three or 4 weeks after the start of my 2nd infection and that's when all the muscle stuff started (among other things)
Just sayin'

@Flowergirl hi I'm in England UK.
I don't go outside unless it's for food or appointments.
So I never caught covid. I can imagine covid doing great harm to your insides, however it's called long covid. Fibromyalgia is produced in body through head injuries and severe emotional pain. I've had lots of both from early childhood, I'm 60 this year and been suffering more since 2013. I have a very high pain threshold but fibro is a nagging persistent always in the background. I have tried everything, now all I do is take anti- inflammatory tablets, not good for guts but hey what ever helps at time.

Fibromyalgia is produced in body through head injuries and severe emotional pain.
Many people with fibromyalgia have a history of trauma and emotional pain, and some people with fibro have had head injuries, but there is no scientific proof or consensus that these things actually cause fibromyalgia.
Also, not everyone who has fibro reports those things in their history, so there is no direct correlation or causation.

Just want to clarify that the actual causes of fibromyalgia are still unknown.

It's possible that you "only" have Long Covid, and not fibromyalgia. Although, after a certain point, and if it goes on for long enough, some people's symptoms and experiences with Long Covid are so similar to fibromyalgia symptoms that the two may become more or less indistinguishable, apart from the cause. No one actually knows what causes fibromyalgia, and Long Covid's cause is more clear. But possibly now that many people are experiencing Long Covid, some research into treatments may help those of us who have fibromyalgia. We can hope so, anyway.

I'm still struggling y'all! I have bone pain in a lot of my body, muscle wasting and tendinitis in many spots (MRI results). It's too painful and too far to go out and smoke a joint (full flower is typically needed for me to get relief). I took a muscle relaxer and a Xanax hoping to calm myself down an hopefully let's me sleep some time away from the pain. Yes I use 50 mg THC and 10 mg CBN capsules. They didn't find the tumor in any of the extensive number of scans. I don't have any other pain medication. Otc won't even touch it, so I don't take. Soooooooo it sounds to me that I'm having a pity party for one lol. This bone pain muscle pain arthritis pain, nerve pain, tactical, visual, smell and auditiry sensitivity, the feeling of a cold electric boa constrictor wrapped round my ribs. I hurt beyond anything before. I just pray for a little sleep. Pitty party party of one you must go, your meal is done. You must move on there is no loitering here. Thanks for the vent y'all.

@SweetWithSour , if you have tendonitis, it is recommend that you take ibuprofen. It doesn't actually help with the pain as such, but it will decrease the swelling, which is what tendonitis is. When the swelling decreases, the pain eases up somewhat. Although it will still flare when you use the affected muscles, the overall constant pain of it will be reduced. My doctor has me taking 200mg of ibuprofen twice a day for tendonitis in my shoulder, to reduce that inflammation, and it is definitely helping.

Thank you for the tip on the ibuprofen
You're welcome. I never would have thought to take it, because it does nothing for the pain I have daily. But turns out it does help with this. Doesn't remove the pain, but reduces it some.
