Can FM go undiagnosed for 20 yrs. I've had thyroid issues for that long along with headaches, fatigue and random pain? I've complained , but it is not till recently that I went in search of an opinion and came back with an FM diagnosis.

Hi sabii05, Yes, you might be surprised to learn how many people, and how many on this forum, will tell you that they went ten or twenty or even more years without a diagnosis. It is common, especially for those who developed it when most people didn't know the syndrome even existed, which was up until the past ten or 15 years. And there are many who have been told for years it is all in their heads and are sent to mental health doctors.
