Hi welcome to the forum.
You mention your husband is taking B-12 shots, was his B-12 pretty low? I do not have ALS, but have pernicious anemia (a chronic B-12 deficiency caused by not being able to properly absorb B-12 from food.). It can cause fatigue, cramping, muscle twitching, weird sensations and a number of other symptoms. The intensity of his symptoms are not something I have experienced though.
You also mentioned his diagnosis of fibro, "wasn't very good." Do you mean that the neuro who diagnosed the fibro wasn't very good, or that being diagnosed with fibro wasn't very good?
I'm sorry you have to be here, and are worried.
Best wishes,
Robert
