🤗🤗🤗 @Klickkat keep phoning (I used to hang about waiting for people, now if they drag things out I phone and get annoying) you deserve the medical care you need!

@Klickkat

That's fine, we all get lost on here when our head decides to play games with us.

Take care, and I hope you get doctor response soon. 🤗 🤗 🤗

@Grumpy me hello from a fellow grumpy UK sufferer. Fibromyalgia is stressful enough for us to deal with without unsympathetic doctors and demeaning PIP assessments. Nearly every time I've dealt with PIP it's gone to tribunal. Hard knowing what to do for best when one is washed, very sore and not getting much done. Atb

🫂 @Badger, i don't think you're grumpy (you probably FEEL grumpy,) you can't have this and NOT ( especially with everything that comes with it!) I think you're pretty cool👍🏻

Food for thought, I've learnt the hard way, despite any hardship we've experienced, pain can either make us more resentful or more compassionate. Fortunately through the support of this forum and a close friend I've been reminded of what it is to lean in to the pain and embrace compassion. Indelible, ephemeral and infinite.

Indelible, ephemeral and infinite......
A single brush stroke, in the space of a lifetime, breathe into silence.
Wow, now that's Zen-ish food for thought, sort of: Everything is constantly, endlessly and fluidly changing?

Is "my" brush stroke = what I make of my life? I'm the painter. As long as I take up space and (life-)time?

'breathe' = (my breathing is what I need to) live - 'silence' = universe and peace?

Hi, yes you are right, everything is subject to change, the contents ephemeral yet indelibly changing the context in which they appear, seemingly infinitely.

The other lines come from my attempt at a Hyku. The brush stroke, something that's both mundane and miraculous, symbolizing life, vividly noticing a moment in time / consciousness. The space of a lifetime, as you say, the context in which it appears. Breath, a simple and vital expression into the silence / space where all becomes known.

Some philosophical musings I've had in this foggy brain of mine while reflecting on life and pain.

Bit different, but reminds me of the phrase Rush quotes in Circumstances on Hemispheres: "plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose, the more (that) things change, the more they stay the same"...

Very true, that's a great quote and a really interesting progressive band.
