Hi, yes you are right, everything is subject to change, the contents ephemeral yet indelibly changing the context in which they appear, seemingly infinitely.
The other lines come from my attempt at a Hyku. The brush stroke, something that's both mundane and miraculous, symbolizing life, vividly noticing a moment in time / consciousness. The space of a lifetime, as you say, the context in which it appears. Breath, a simple and vital expression into the silence / space where all becomes known.
